The Glamorizing of Shirley
Every girl needs a Glamper...
Here is the mascot, flagship, and source of inspiration for The Fat Quarter Gypsy!
Meet Shirley... my soon-to-be Glamper!
Shirley is a 1974 Airstream Argosy that we rescued from a farm in eastern Minnesota. Airstream Argosys are a close relative of the more well-known polished aluminum Airstreams. They were produced from 1972 until 1979. Argosys are made from painted steel. Ours is the 24 foot model that originally came with three beds, a full bathroom, kitchen and original avocado green countertops.

When we found Shirley, she was in rough shape. The first photo shows her on the day we bought her.
